“Okay, I am officially lost. Who is Katherine?” Aunt Lynn asked. “She’s just somebody.” I said. “What did she do to you?” Aunt Lynn asked. “Nothing. Yet.” I said. “Explain.” Then I told her everything. About the hole, about the battle, about the camp, about Katherine and Alice and the doppelganger thing…but not D. “So, I am guessing that you don’t want to watch the vampire diaries with me tonight?” she asked. “Of course I do! What would give you that idea?” I asked. “I’m not sure, uh, hmm…KATHERINE!!!!!!!!” she said. “It’s not the seeing her that bothers me. It’s the seeing me that bothers me. Like an aging app on an iPhone. What I would look like in a few years. That’s what bothers me the most.” We watched TVD. It was a new episode, not an old one, though I thought they had said that there would be no new episodes on Christmas Eve. At the beginning, the hints made it clear that Damon had a secret, and wouldn’t tell Stefan, but he told Elena. He told Elena that it was something about Katherine, and that it wasn’t important (which it obviously was). Then some new character shows up, and she looks like Katherine and Elena but a bit younger, and her name is Mary. Elena meets Mary, Mary and Elena are surprised that they look so much like each other, and Elena gets Damon to say that he thinks Mary is Katherine’s other Doppelganger, which I called the Thirdelganger (please don’t ask). I have a theory that this Mary kid is Bipolar, or suffers from a multiple personality disorder. One minute, she’s nice and sweet, but the next is vicious and manipulative. Sound familiar? Anyways, then we went to bed. I slept in Megan’s room, while Nathen and my Mom went to my Nanny’s house to sleep. It was about three am when I heard a muffled cry coming from downstairs. I tiptoed across the room, careful not to wake Megan, and scurried downstairs. I found Uncle Drew with a butcher’s knife in his stomach. “Oh my god!” I screamed, kneeling down to help him. “Behind you!” he said weakly. “What?” “Behind you!” he pointed a shaky finger behind me. I carefully but quickly pulled out the knife and whirled around. The killer ran around me in circles at light speed. I chased the blurry figure to a mirror, where I stopped. The silhouette of a girl fell out of line from behind me and ran out the door. “Aunt Lynn! Melika! Megan! Somebody help!” I screamed. They all piled down the stairs. Melika called 911 while Megan applied pressure to Uncle Drew’s wound. “Kieyra, did you see who did it?” Aunt Lynn asked. That’s when I noticed the piece of paper taped to the knife holder:

I crumpled up the note and ripped it into tiny little pieces. “Katherine!” I growled. “Katherine did this.” I ran outside and kicked a tree across the street with such force that it now leaned over like the tower of piza. “This vampire diaries thing is becoming too real for me. Should I quit while I’m ahead?” she asked. I laughed. “Welcome to my world.”
